My Valentines

I'm going to say it again, as I think I said it a week or two ago, that I really adore Valentine's Day.  It's fun!  Yes, like Halloween and Christmas, it has fallen prey to commercialism...  but we enjoy the day nonetheless.

While material gifts are not the point of it, the husband and I really enjoy giving each other things that show how well we know one another.  Oddly enough, he started a tradition of always giving me something technological or computer-related, and he's stuck with that for the 3rd year now.

When he arrived home from work, he had a bunch of red roses, a pink Wii remote, and computer speakers for me.

I planned weeks in advance, since I ordered his gifts from ThinkGeek, and gave him:

Tea.  Earl Grey.  Hot.  It's Federation issue.  ;)

Star Wars family decals.  He asked which ones we should use and I said, "Boba Fett and Slave Leia, of course, and the kids are Jawas!"  He suggested Luke and Leia, just to mess with people's minds.  Hee hee hee.

Darwin's Finches t-shirt because hubby loves both birds and science.  Evolution for the win!

Now to make shrimp for dinner, because everyone in this house loves seafood.  Well, except the baby.  She has no clue.
